Continuous Development & Support

KNAUF INTERFER SE, headquartered in Duisburg, Germany, has evolved in recent years from a pure distributor of steel and aluminum to a multi-material processing company. KNAUF INTERFER now relies on Intentive for the continuous development of its corporate website and intranet.

The companies of the KNAUF INTERFER Group are among the most experienced specialists in the fields of steel and aluminum processing and distribution in the automotive and industrial sectors.

The development of recent years from a pure distributor to a “multi-material” processing company is reflected in the further processing of the products.

The website and intranet requirements associated with this change pushed the digital platform developed as part of classic relaunches to its limits, so a more flexible solution was sought.

We have established a continuous development process with the client in order to reflect the dynamic change of the group of companies on the TYPO3-based corporate website and the TYPO3-based intranet.

Instead of cyclical relaunches every few years as before, the digital platform will be continuously developed in quarterly releases in future. New functions, features and services will be provided successively and Intentive's ongoing support will be guaranteed by its own service desk team, which will also provide support for spontaneous requirements and ad hoc tasks. A discreet facelift has brought the existing visual design up to date with little effort. The digital platform is now also keeping pace with the development of KNAUF INTERFER.

My service desk team is the first point of contact for the technical operation and further development of the website and intranet. We are very pleased with the appreciation that KNAUF INTERFER shows us when we provide support with spontaneous ad-hoc tasks or coordinate the targeted further development of the platform.
